Ribbon Cutting & Blessing of the Sakti Sangam Store
The storefront below Yoga Anand Ashram was rented in July of 1975 and we spent the next three months making it ready for opening day. Our Sakti Sangam Store officially opened on November 1, 1975 with a ribbon cutting and blessing ceremony led by Gurani Anjali with Ashram members and community in attendance.
Along with all its other offerings, the Sakti Sangam Store was home to the Ashram Cheese Co-Op. A place for our members to purchase quality cheeses.
