A gathering to unite in praise and acknowledgement of the season of ripening and completion. Just as day vanishes into the night and youth into old age, the warmth of summer withdraws into the blessings of the harvest season.
There are many changes in life which must be seen and penetrated. This seasonal festival included music, song, discourse and a vegetarian buffet. All these, when participated in with respect, praise and a thankful heart, bring the participant to a deeper awareness, understanding and appreciation for life. All were welcomed.
