The Yoga Anand Ashram logo is symbolic of the Yogic way of life.
The three circles represent the three attributes of all manifestation (prakrti/gunas). They are rajas (activity), tamas (inertia) and sattva (illumination). The four corners represent the four directions.
The twenty-four rays surrounding the flame stand for the twenty-four tattvas (Samkhya principles).
The eight steps symbolize the eight-fold path – i.e., asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath control), yama (abstinences), niyama (observances), pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (union with the divine light).
The flame signifies the divine light of consciousness.
