Greet the day at sunrise or as early as possible – rise and take a shower, clean the teeth and tongue, sniff cool water gently into nostrils and expel.
Go to your place to do Yoga – Start by saying namaste. Lay in shavasana (corps pose) for a few minutes, relax the body and mind and them begin doing asanas. After finishing asanas, sit in a cross-legged position and do the following:
- Breathe in through your nostrils slowly; while you are inhaling draw up anus.
- When you cannot breathe any longer, place chin on the hollow of neck.
- Hold the above in place as long as you can.
- When you feel you cannot hold any longer, lift chin and exhale completely, relaxing the anus at the same time.
- Remain exhaled.
- Pull or draw in stomach as tight as possible.
- Hold for as long as you can.
- Remain exhaled and release stomach.
- Now inhale after you have released stomach.
- Relax awhile, then repeat. Start with three times and work up to ten.
Take Time
Take time to think…
it is the source of power.
Take time to play…
it is the secret of perpetual youth.
Take time read…
it is the foundation of wisdom.
Take time to pray…
it is the greatest power on earth.
Take time to love and be loved…
it is a God-given privilege.
Take time to be friendly…
it is the road to happiness.
Take time to laugh…
it is the music of the soul.
Take time to give…
it is too short a day to be selfish
